Set among landscaped hemlock, white birch, and mountain laurel, Mallard's Landing on Sunset Cove is a delightful heated and air conditioned retreat in any season. As the lake laps just a few feet away, Mallard's Landing offers breathtaking sunsets, an intimate connection to nature, and the luxury of upscale private guest amenities. With three walls of windows, the Mallard's Landing Cottage assures you of refreshing breezes and spectacular scenery. An adjacent trail through the woods leads to a wonderful rocky outcrop and a 2 mile sightline up the lake.

The open-air Mallard's Landing on Sunset Cove has a king-sized bed, fashionable linens, full-sized couch, cathedral ceilings, kitchen with dishes/ glasses/ cooking implements, and an entertainment center with cable TV, DVD, stereo and CD. The cottage features a private lakeside deck area with barbecue grill for your dining and relaxing pleasure. It's the ideal place to watch the sun set in the west.

We welcome guests with special travel needs. This spacious Cottage was designed with easy access for our guests with disabilities. Accessed by a ramp, the open floor plan offers convenient wheel chair access to the entire cottage and outside viewing areas.

The wrap-around deck overlooks the cove at Mallard's Landing and features a mature pine tree growing right up through the deck. It offers abundant shade, gentle breezes, and spectacular sunsets in the privacy of your own wooded glen. Nestled in the pines nearby is a secluded brick patio and Adirondack chairs at the very edge of the lake, accessed by a ramp from the Mallard's Landing Cottage deck.

We do allow pets in the Mallard's Landing Cottage on a case-by-case basis.
