The Heron's Nest Cottage is decorated throughout in light Asian motif. Framed art celebrates New England artists from Heron's Dance. The cottage is sunny, modern, and fully equipped for a couple seeking a home-away-from home.

Pictured above, the master bedroom features a king sized bed with Sealy ultra-plush mattress, TV, DVD, air conditioning, heater, and privacy sink.

Above is a view of the oversized outdoor deck, with its gas grill and outdoor dining tables and chairs. It is a favorite place for our guests to savor nature and relax. Many a meal has been enjoyed from this vantage point. Just off the deck is a circle of Adirondack chairs set underneath a 100-year-old oak tree. The umbrella of shade is soothing in the high season.

Set just a few steps from lapping waves, the Heron's Nest has long windows, high ceilings, and contemporary decor. Pictured below, inside, the Heron's Nest's details include a fully equipped kitchen (all dishes, glassware, cooking implements), full-sized refrigerator, microwave, four burner stove, toaster oven, and coffee maker. A sitting area has a full-sized sofa, comfortable chaise, another television, and DVD player. A dining room table has hidden leaves so you can enjoy a simple cup of herbal tea or a lobster bake; it's your choice. A sleeping loft with double bed and low ceilings can accommodate an additional (albeit agile) third guest. There is one private bath in the Heron's Nest Cottage.
